Tennaqua is a social club where you will make some of the best friends of your life. The season kicks off with a Welcome Aboard Party where new members have a chance to get acquainted. From there, we are all ushered into a non-stop summer of family picnics, Friday night dinners, teen nights and specially-themed events, all barely fitting in between the tennis and swim schedules.

Members also take advantage of the club to invite their friends over for a barbecue on the lawn following a swim, or to enjoy a cool drink and appetizers after a social tennis game. You are invited to use your imagination as to how your club, Tennaqua, may best serve you. Areas of the club are available to rent out for parties and events. Celebrate a child's birthday with a pool party or host an office picnic on the grounds. Tennaqua is here for you to make the most of.

Adult Socials

Swim suits and racquets by day, khakis and strappy sandals by night. There is an entire summer of social events planned for you to relax, enjoy and get acquainted with every member of the Tennaqua family. The summer novel may be read pool-side, but it is discussed at the book club which meets every two weeks all summer. This July, everyone is invited to dance under the stars at a very special Barefoot Ball to celebrate Tennaqua's 50th.

Cool off with a margarita at Carmen's Mariachi Night. Pop a shrimp cocktail at Andy and Gretchen's Summer Social. Friday night dinners may be grilled steak or a fish fry, but will always get the entire family out of the kitchen. Paddle and tennis socials keep everyone active and are always followed with food. Octoberfest, Opening Paddle Day and finally a Holiday party reminds us that we will soon begin it all again.

Kid Socials

Kids are always kept busy at Tennaqua. They scamper between the pool, tennis courts and the back lawn for chaperoned camping sleep-overs and family picnics. They dance poolside at Teen night, they play water games and relays at Family Day and they celebrate birthdays. Even on a rainy day they meet up in the club house for card games and ice cream. They lose track of time as they grow up having fun at Tennaqua.
